I would place a sizeable bet that the US will place sanctions or restrictions, regardless of whether Russia is involved.
They will not tolerate competitors.
It's a given this will happen.
China should definitely be working on a version that does not rely on US parts, and it makes sense to do that with Russia.
The economic war the US is waging on China with restrictions, sanctions, and outright bans regarding the çhip, semiconductor, and a myriad of other industries proves this.
