Computer models show heat waves in north Pacific may be due to China reducing aerosols​

A team of oceanographers and planetary scientists at the Ocean University of China, working with a pair of colleagues from the U.S. and one in Germany, has found via computer modeling, that recent heat waves in the north Pacific may be due to a large reduction in aerosols emitted by factories in China.

I don't get why Chinese Wind turbine exports are so small, just looking at revenue numbers it seems as if Chinese Wind power like Goldwind is around 3 times cheaper than the like of Vestas, but it doesn't translate into some massive competitive advantage on the international market.

Transportation over land is a big issue, I think. Turbine blades are massive. Offshore is quickly becoming a big business though, and that might be a better trade opportunity. You can potentially have final assembly done on the shore on sort of a dock, load directly onto a ship, then transport to the site straight away for installation without ever touching land.
