Part of this is that I've never played this kind of combat-combo games before, and also because I liked mouse and keyboard over controllers, and also I'm southpaw so I actually use mouse in left hand which makes it awkward for pressing some key combos with my right hand. I'm not sure why cause for my normal work I'm fine using right hand for mouse work.

SO I sucked, but still enjoyed the game, and am gonna keep going.

Good thing is I can shapeshift into him now.

Anyway I'm sure people who played passed this point will get the following memes:

I recommend using a controller for these kind of games

Buy an Xbox or playstation controller and a usb cable and it should work out of the box

It was clever level design putting those 3 wolves at the entrance to that level huh?
I was stuck for 2 hours trying to beat Wandering Wight because I thought Guangzhi was sitting at level exit after the initial scouting trip with golden cicada form.

I have a ps4 controller and I've tried that. The buttons feels less crisp than key press though. Maybe I'm not used to using it but now I keep it plugged in so I might use it for more difficult bosses. It's instant switch between the 2 in game anyway.

For exploring, beating minions and stuff like collecting herbs I like using mouse.

I just run passed him.

You really should get a controller. I bought 8bitdo Pro 2 just for this game. I tried 8bitdo SN30 Pro, but using the joysticks on that one doesn't work.
