Husbando Jesus Sunday broke the Internet. In X, in Japan. For the first time in a long time, there was peace and harmony in the Hoyoverse community.

His new outfit goes with his 'redemption' and 'resurrection' after being the villain in the best HSR story arc so far.

Being a Harmony unit also tells me he's a must for opening your wallet.

Oh well, time to stockpile Stella Jades then. HSR is still one of my favorite games as of now and this is in fact one of the first games made in China that gave me hope when it came to gaming as of recent because all those those western AAA Games as of recent has gone a long way to destroy my interest in gaming. I haven’t bought a single western game for years due to how much they suck

I know why they gay and lesbian community are claiming this character. They'll say she's lesbian so then they have to make her lesbian. The makers didn't have a story for her yet so they made one up for her. Why doesn't Western gaming developers just make their own games making characters that they want instead of demanding others do it for them. I've seen pictures of staff at Western gaming companies and there seems to be lot of those persuasions there already. If Western gaming companies are all on board the DEI gaming narrative, what's the problem where they can't do it themselves? Is it because they want to force their beliefs on everyone else. Yes the thing the West says China wants to do to them which is bad is perfectly all right for them to do to others.

I remember when Japanese anime first was getting popular in the US, white kids would say anime characters were white. Do white people have purple hair? Just because the characters have the same number of body and kind of appendages, they must be white? I get it. It must be the eyes. They aren't slanted so they can't be Japanese. No human being looks like anime style characters in real life. Maybe they were made that way so no one could stake an identity.

Black Myth budget was 43 million USD.
That is insanely impressive if you knew just how much money modern AAA games use while producing lesser products. For comparison, Concord used 400 million, Spider Man 2 was 315 million, and Elden Ring was 200 million.

Now that the BMW devs have made more than 10 times their budget, I'm super excited for their next game.

BM: WK, by all accounts, was a work of passion. The entire team likely worked a lot of overtime for little pay. It's not a sustainable model.

We can't say that just from knowing that the team is passionate.

Salary is usually one of the lower costs in any project. It's more likely that they saved a lot on consultancy firms and PR. I don't mean dogshit DEI consults, but a lot of Western companies buy third party consults to help them in coding, asset design, art etc. Then they made calls to local museums/parks which are not for profit, who helped them with marketing.

BMW cost around 20% of Elden ring. But elden ring has a big name publisher taking cuts and also had to buy George Martin. Elden ring is also a larger and more complex game.

I think BMW relative to it's scope actually scales right about the same as Elden Ring in terms of cost.

It's a good thing that they got the budget now. I can see them going a lot more stress-free moving forward.

Tingyun officially resurrected now but she has a new name, Fugue. I think there's some meaning to the new name but the main reason she gets a new name is because she can be classified within the software as a new character. Similar to Dan Heng and Imbibitor Lunae. The other method is to a mode switch like with either Caelus/Stelle between their Destruction, Preservation and Harmony modes, or March 7 with her Hunter and Preservation modes.

Having a new database entry enabled the character to be bumped up as a five star from the four star, and it can enable both versions of the characters at once in the same team.
