sharp sword UAV belong to a new class of attack drone.
USAF do have plan to convert B-52 into a unmanned bomber, but the plan was eventually scrapped.it is possible to convert H-6 into a unmanned bomber, surely the technology was there.

I've been reading about runway tests. I guess they're true.

Finally :D... now I clearly see a patter: each time when I'm far away with my family, with no access to the www, CHina unveils its crown-jewels.:p

Last time it was the Y-20's maiden flight, the same before with the J-31/21 ... and now the Sharp Sword.

By the way in connection with that UCAV-demonstrator the name "Lijian" was mentioned ... can anyone conform it ??

So, logically, if I were with the ONI or other equally exalted bodies with an interest in keeping track of Chinese military developments, I'd be depositing sums to an undisclosed bank account at fairly regular intervals for you and your family, with the caveat that it is only to be spent on vacations to places with no internet access?

Did he really said that chinese UAV are not a match for russian ones? This is a Taiwan news source. How about a more impartial news source?

Yang said that for these reasons China drones are not yet a match for UAVs operated by the United States, Russia, Israel and European nations, though

You guys need to slow down on your condemnations.

The article is quoting Yang Baokui, which, if you've read the article, is actually the CHINESE vice chairman of CASIC...

So unless the site is fabricating quotations, I think we can assume that this is a case of unintended ignorance by Mr Yang. Everyone knows the Russians practically have no UAV industry.
