Watching it transition from fixed wing to the quad is impressive.

Any pictures of the platform is being used to control this type of drone? Is it a simple tablet/controller type interface or something more?
Those kinds of drones can usually be controlled from a basic laptop/controller setup, but they DO have the disadvantage of less range/endurance due to the VTOL components interfering with aerodynamics. I wonder why they don't trial a tilt rotor setup like a mini-Osprey, seems to be the best of both worlds, they also won't have the disadvantage of mechanical complexity since you can get away with cheap servo-motors in a smaller drone setup.

source : Have seen similar 15kg class drone with 4 hr endurance and ~30km range in university, although student teams and military drones may differ significantly in capabilities.

Wait, are two people operating the same UAV here? (likely answer is not, but still, I wanna be sure)
Yes I think so.
Probably not. Their screens show different camera feeds.
Look at the upper-right corner of each camera feeds. They are from the same UAV but swapped as different main view for different operators.

I think one person is responsible for flying, the other is responsible for observation of the ground. Isn't that common practice of all UAVs? One pilot, the other being weapon operator.

This UAV is not only providing communication but also for disaster evaluation therefor the ground observer.

The third station is apparently to operate the base-station.
