TGV laser drilling technology achieves breakthrough! Guihua Intelligent helps upgrade the glass substrate packaging industry

The substrate is an important component of the final stage of the chip packaging process, playing a key role in supporting the bare chip. Glass substrates, with glass as the core material, have shown great potential in advanced packaging technology due to their excellent high-frequency electrical properties, stable thermal stability, and chemical stability. They are generally regarded by the industry as an important development direction for next-generation chip substrates.

As a key supplier of TGV laser drilling machines, Guihua Intelligent has dedicated itself to technological research and development. Its TGV laser drilling machines have successfully overcome numerous technical challenges in through-hole forming, combining high speed, high precision, narrow pitch, smooth sidewalls, excellent verticality, and low cost. They demonstrate exceptional strength in key performance parameters, with a maximum processing width of 920mm*730mm and a minimum hole diameter of just 1.5μm. Source: Guihua Intelligence..

It can achieve an ultra-large diameter-to-depth ratio of 1:200, with the hole wall finish precisely controlled within 150nm and a processing efficiency of up to 10,000 holes per second. Under normal working conditions, it can perform high-precision precision processing on glass with a thickness of 200μm to 1.5mm.

Omnivision is owned by Will semiconductor, whose boss go invited to that meeting with Xi earlier this year (when he met all the tech execs). Omnivision has its chips produced at both SMIC and TSMC. China also has at least 2 other major CMOS suppliers in Galaxycore and Smartsens. There is no concerns here.

Like, this has been discussed many times. I really don't want to keep having to answer this type of questions over and over again.
I'm aware of all of that. Just wanted to make sure because of the 3 Chinese CMOS, Omnivision the clear leader so far. Finally, there's no harm in repeating, University Professors have to literally repeat their subject materials every 4 months/year. There are a lot of new peoples in here who don't have the time to scroll through 1034 page of thread II

China doesn't buy anything. Chinese companies do. China as a country is export controlled but some companies are blacklisted, the D.C. stooges want them death.
SMIC, YMTC and others. They probably not. They are blacklisted.
HuaHong. Probably yes.
Either way having the option between ASML and Nikon, Chinese companies will always buy ASML, because they offer better service than Nikon and their scanners are modular pretty much like Chinese lithography companies want theirs to be.
Given that there are options locally the Chinese government will recommend to buy local whatever is possible, either CETC, SMEE(SiCarrier?) or in the near future Naura. Like the situation today with NVIDIA.

From what I understand Nikon machines are also easy to upgrade.
ASML build their machines to be very very modular and upgrading is sizable chunk of their business. Just by looking used lithography scanners you can see that ASML modularity compared to Nikon who machines look like a mess of cables and boards. I don't know is if a Japanese thing or Nikon think will make more difficult to third parties sale and repair
