I keep waiting patiently for anything official about the SMEE DUVi Machine :(

Sad it's taking so long.

Has there been any news in the last few months? I might've missed it, but I don't think I've seen anything since late 2023.

Loongson too .. they are blacklisted already. cannot fab 7nm from TSMC/SS.. so only option is SMIC for advanced CPUs ..

I don't think Loongson ever fabbed outside of mainland.
Loongson most recently publicly shown products were still 14/12nm.

Loongson just started moving towards 7nm and will probably be slow due to demand.

They don't have a mass market product with good margin (to cover the increased production cost). Mate60 and P70 are premium smartphones. Loongson's biggest customers will probably government offices looking for low cost options.

Is Huawei Pura 70 Ultra and Pura 70 Pro+ using 7nm chip or 5nm chip? Many people are saying Kirin 9010 chip is used.

i m talking about chip process. they are blacklisted so cannot fab from TSMC/GF for advanced process like 7nm .. only remaining option is SMIC for 7nm ..
Loongson does not have a 7nm chip. 6000 series still use 12nm. Now, they are talking about 7nm for 7000 series. But by then, China should also have more 7nm capacity.
