Recently, the environmental impact assessment (EIA) for the pilot-scale project of electronic-grade chemicals for semiconductor fluorosilicone materials at the Changxing Island branch of Dalian Kelide Optoelectronic Materials Co., Ltd. was released for public comment. The company is precisely targeting the essential needs of the high-end semiconductor materials market, fully promoting the construction of this key pilot-scale project, continuously improving its high-end electronic specialty gas product portfolio, contributing to the domestic substitution of core semiconductor materials, and empowering the independent and controllable development of the industry chain.
According to the public information, the pilot project is located in the Changxing Island Economic and Technological Development Zone of Dalian City. It will utilize the leased L3 pilot plant building in Phase II of the Regional Innovation Center as its R&D and pilot production site, and will be equipped with a complete set of specialized production line equipment for trifluoroiodomethane and germane. Leveraging the advantages of Changxing Island's high-end fine chemical and electronic materials industry cluster, the project focuses on process verification, trial production, and technology iteration of high-end electronic chemicals. It aligns closely with the region's development positioning for high-end chemical and semiconductor supporting industries, boasting comprehensive industrial support and a solid development foundation.
