well, I guess people in the West has finally caught on. I mean Taylor Ogan mentioned it on Steve Hsu's podcast a while back. The facility itself is somewhere in Dongguan IIRC. But yeah, it's not a secret to people in Shenzhen tech scene.

If Reuters is reporting it then EUV is pretty much completed. Wow! This is the biggest news of this year I would say, much bigger than Deepseek. EUV was the one bottleneck holding China back on not just Chips, but also the entire technology stack such as AI, smartphones, supercomputers you name it. If China can get EUV, then they can finally break the Chip stranglehold and achieve complete self-sufficiency in technology.

Did I not tell you people to relax for the longest time? lol.

But this still needs time to be put into HVM production. So, the people in SiCarrier will be busy and focused for a long time.

Keep in mind that the oscilloscope and laser interferometer commercialization are probably just as important for 3nm production to work. The key is that they built a full supply chain for EUV production.
