Seems Taiwan's semicon industry face multiple massive problems. Geopolitics, China, Currency manipulator abd and now environment. The latter already shows strain now. If they can't solve it then their expansion will be constrained.
I'm actually really pissed off by all of this; the white american race war against china, the tech war, traitor vegetable english.

I actually have to interact with people in the real world since i'm not able to get new computer parts for a new gaming PC.

And the downstream effect of the american trade war is crypto going higher, which means goodbye graphics cards. FML,

Amid predictions that US President Joe Biden may present an additional sanctions bill in the first half of 2021 to block China’s rise in the area of semiconductors, South Korean semiconductor experts remained cautious about the possibility of the US adopting the kind of intensive sanctions that some are calling for, including a possible ban on exports to China.
S.Koreans still delusional. Chips bans (advanced tech at least) are incoming, everyone with half a working brain can see that

“The memory semiconductors being produced at Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix plants in China are all-purpose and have nothing to do with security issues,” he said. This means that even if the US does opt for more intensive tactics, the likelihood of them directly impacting South Korean businesses is slim.
Lmao, yes whatever hahaha. Western worshipping still going strong

At first I thought you are from China. It would justify how vocal you're here. Just found you're from Cyprus.

Although I failed to see any sign of worshipping in that news but ok
Read it carefully. They mentioned that they dont think that the US bans will impact S.K business because they are not a "security issue" which means that they still believe that the chips bans have anything to do with security/military lol

The whole world knows why the US is imposing Chips bans on China and these jokers still think it is for "security issues".

So yes, they are worshipping because they wholehardly believe the official US propaganda line without doubting it

I just found something weird. Why they said security issue instead of military purpose? They are talking about Korean chips that's going to be sell in China and not about using Chinese equipment

Tbh this a memory chips that are being produce in China. What the expert wanted to tell is US should know that these chips not contain their propaganda tool. So US has no rights to ban made in China memory chips from Samsung or Hynix. Think about it, for US any advance equipment or components that are coming from china means "security issue". US doesn't care whether its a lie or true. For them their propaganda must fly through and that's the reason they don't want to buy a chips or telecommunications equipment from China. So this expert was trying to clarify things. Just like how Huawei tried to clarify that their equipment doesn't have backdoor.

So this is nothing about believing in propaganda or worshipping US. Its about giving a notice to US that memory chips from Samsung or Hynix can't be tag as containing security issue just because it being produced in China.

The US has all the rights in the world to ban products containing US IP to be blocked from sale. If S.K memory chips contain US IP (almost 100% sure that they do) then US will block them if it wants to

So why you called them worshipping US? Its about business. What's the difference between Huawei and this Korean expert? Both were clarifying things and told US you have no reason to ban our products. Any vendors in china would say the same thing against such accusation.

I tried my best to understand the news. It had nothing to do with what you think.
