I am hearing similar news about the benchmarking of the SSA800 against the NXT2000i by SMIC. This can really only mean that the SSA800 has exceeded the performance of the NXT1980i, which it is based on.
SMEE has grown considerably since its formation and now employs almost 2000 personnel engaged in R&D.
An improved version of the SSA800 is also being worked on with greater resolution and overlay accuracy which should be able to match the latest DUVL from ASML and Nikon.
US Govt sanctions has been a real gift to the Chinese Semiconductor Industry.
Sir like a 2mm overlay from 2.5 and 90kw lazer?

208 million yuan! Liande Equipment won the bid for the 6th generation AMOLED (flexible) production line project of BOE Chongqing

On the evening of July 26, Liande Equipment announced that Shenzhen Liande Automation Equipment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") recently received a " Bid Winning Notice", confirming that the company has become the winning bidder of BOE Chongqing's 6th generation AMOLED (flexible) production line project (hereinafter referred to as the "project"), with a total bid amount of approximately 208 million yuan.
According to the content of the announcement, the equipment that won the bid for Liande Equipment this time is vacuum lamination equipment and heat dissipation film lamination machine.
Liande Equipment stated that the performance of the project will not affect the independence of the company's business. If a formal contract is signed and implemented smoothly for this project, it will have a positive impact on the company's future operating performance. C*Core Tech Jumps as Chinese Chip Designer Unveils New-Gen Auto MCU

Please, Log in or Register to view URLs content!

C*Core Technology’s shares rose after the Chinese chip designer announced it has successfully developed a new generation of electronics microcontroller unit for vehicles.

C*Core Tech [SHA: 688262] closed 2 percent higher at CNY40.51 (USD5.67) in Shanghai today. The stock has climbed 36 percent since the end of last year.

CCFC3008PT, the new MCU, recently passed C*Core Tech’s internal tests, the Suzhou-based company said late yesterday.

MCUs, also known as single-chip microcomputers, are chips that integrate the central processing unit, read-only memory, random-access memory, and various types of peripheral interfaces, particularly designed to control and perform specific tasks.

CCFC3008PT can be used in the electronics powertrain, chassis controller, and power battery controller and should help alleviate a shortage of mid-to-high-end MCUs in China’s new energy vehicle industry, C*Core Tech added.

The product will help the company expand in the auto electronics’ market and boost business performance, it said.

C*Core Tech has provided samples of CCFC3008PT to clients, and they have already started preliminary development and testing of related software and hardware products, it pointed out.

From @WTAN and @tokenanalyst previous post about a rumor of SMEE SSA800 benchmarking against ASML NXT 2000i, I think we can say that the news can be true as YMTC is planning to sue ASML for damages incur with a possibility of ASML being sanction by China. The Chinese will not do this unless there is an alternative ready. From my mentor @Oldschool

Counterstrike against ASML maybe on the way.

The latest I heard is YMTC president said the company will sue ASML and ask it buy back all the ASML DUVs in China that it will refuse to provide service. If ASML refuse to buy back and refuse to provide service, YMTC would ask the court to void all ASML DUV IPs in China.

Hopefully the court would void ALL ASML IP in China including the EUV because it accepted payment and refuse to deliver.

Samething with US and Japanese equipments, Hopefully the court would void them all as well

After that, domestic equipments could come out without fear of being sued.

Anything goes.

ASML are in breach of contract. They either fulfill their contract, compensate YMTC by buying back their long term useless equipment at full price with the depreciation cost being eaten, or lose all their IP.

Was looking around the Chinese semicon space and found this video of BOE Technology
At 0:09 secs the video shows a program called AetherFPD
View attachment 116392
Guess who makes that software?

And it's nice that it runs on Linux! Although it was RedHat in this screenshot, hopefully it is compatible with the domestic flavours, too.

Xianke Semiconductor's new generation electronic material project is about to be put into production

Recently, the civil engineering part of Xianke's new-generation electronic material localization project has been completed, and the progress of equipment installation is about 80%, and some products are planned to be put into production in September.

After the completion of the project, the total production capacity of silicon compound semiconductor products will reach 326 tons/year, the total production capacity of raw materials for metal organic source epitaxy will reach 150 tons/year, the total production capacity of electronic special gases will reach 294 tons/year, and the total production capacity of electronic technology and auxiliary materials will reach 30,960 tons /year, the total production capacity of photoresist reaches 19,680 tons/year, and the total production capacity of photoresist supporting reagents reaches 90,000 tons/year.
It is reported that after the project is completed, it will provide a guaranteed supply of raw materials for my country's breakthrough and leapfrog development in semiconductor memory and high-end displays, and will also effectively make up for the shortcomings of special raw materials in Yixing and even Wuxi in the integrated circuit industry chain.
