What happen if ASML refused it?

Depends. What happen if ASML refused it?
So? What's your point? Private companies can publish as much and as little as they want. Just because ymtc publishes a lot doesn't mean smee needs to. I hoped ymtc would publish less cause now they are blacklisted. So in hindsight they should have stayed quiet. Your comment doesn't add anything to the thread.
I think we should enjoy this while we can because as China semiconductor industry grows more independent they could become more like black boxes.
Really? When Did I ever say that? Seems like you like to put words in other people's mouths. Please link the quote where I said that or apologize then STFU.Really? You said US blacklist is not going to stop the rise of Chinese semiconductor,so what's the big deal?
void their patentsWhat happen if ASML refused it?
chinese aircraft engines are not transparent. Does it make them inferior?
Nice use of the strawman fallacy. Yeah the poster mentioned engines, not comac itself so don’t put words in peoples mouths or try to change the subject to save your argument. China is in technological war with the US. In many strategic aspects, they should be secretive. some private companies can be more secretive than others, so again back to the original argument, what’s your point?COMAC is a private company, they are much more susceptible to US sanctions than any Chinese semiconductor companies. Yet they are very proactive when it comes to publicity.
Chinese firms don't announce in advance.
