In here, this talks about CETC 14th Institute developing an unmanned sensor system for sea. Using smart computation algorithms.

It combines radar and E/O sighting from shipping, drones and more. Using sensor fusion to create 1 picture to spot anything from large cargo to small fishing fleet. Allowing to maintain perfect control of sea traffic.

I would think this combines satellite sensing data also, but that was not specified here.

14th institute developed the most compact integrated E/O sensor with MMW radar for UAVs.

Considered something they really need for low altitude economy.

14th is best paid amongst the state owned corporations so they better have something good. Pretty much same level pay as most Chinese private sector.
