Chinese purchase of Su-35

Most analysts don't agree with you. On papers, J20 looks superior but SU35 is known for its mobility and has proven tech. How reliable are Chinese AESA radar and engines?
"Proven tech" is synonym to no improvement. For proven technologies, China has no need to go to Russia. For non-proven technologies, Russia has none to offer because Russia doesn't have it or Russian doesn't want to give it. No matter how one looks at it, China has no benefit in a hypothetical Su-35 deal.

For example, China has designed , manufactured its own brand cars many years already but how many of them in the roads of western countries?
How many Ladas are on the road in western countries? At least Warren Buffett invests in BYD. Which Russian auto manufacturer did Warren Buffett invest in? I rest my case.

looks good in spec is only half of the battle.
That's great wisdom. You should tell that to Su-35 sales people.

On Nov 24, 2012,

Here's an edited re-post of my thoughts regarding the reported deal, first expressed on 03-08-2012:

I can suggest a fundamental basis for a Chinese interest in acquiring the Su-35.

The Su-35 is the ultimate Russian evolution of the T-10 platform which is the basis of more combat aircraft variants currently evolving in the Chinese system than is any other aircraft. These variants include: the J-11B, BS, J-15, and J-16. With this many resources invested in the evolution of this platform, and with the investment going forth into the foreseeable future, I don't think it unreasonable to consider that the Chinese would be interested in obtaining access that would allow them to achieve detailed examinations of adaptations that the Russians applied to achieve their ultimate evolution of the platform. This would allow them to conduct comparative analyses of the Su-27 platform evolution in the Russian and Chinese systems and could provide technical information useful to their ongoing evolution of the platform.

My 2 cents!

Seems like sound logic. Add the J-1D, also.

But if you want to put out J20 in service with Al31 engines in 2017, more people would laugh at it then people laughing at SU35,bank on it.

Actually, they claimed that China was "very close" to a deal numerous times before. But I don't recall them ever stating that China actually signed the deal.
They signed a deal in 2012, but not for the jets themselves but a memorandum of understanding that was not legally binding

Part of this deal, Russia said it 's willing to supply 117S to J20.
That's a good option to have if Ws15 have issue.

Usually, people who laugh at China also tend to be ignorant. In any case, they can laugh all their want, but the reality is the same: Su-35 isn't any better than J-20. Even you, sir, can't name one area where Su-35 is better. You had to resort to "people laughing" and "chump change" to justify why Su-35 should be brought.
