Chinas strategy is to make the Pakistan Navy powerful not to gain bases. Cambodia and Bangladesh are also getting bases, but it is for them, not for China. They won’t stop at Pakistan either.

If they are really doing this then soon we will see bases in Maldives, Sri Lanka, Madagascar, Tanzania etc.
other countries have. hope China will, soon

Yes, that's exactly why it's important to post the source along with the image.

"Chinese Port Expansion in Africa" is a Big Misleading Title. These ports belonged to the African countries, not China, and they are not controlled by China. May be this is one of the 1.6 Billion Dollars Misinformation by US.

The Ream Naval Base's China-Cambodia Joint Support and Training Center has been inaugurated and put into operation today (5 April 2025).

Some people on Weibo are claiming that this is China's 2nd overseas base after Djibouti - Though I'm more inclined to believe that the Ream's facilities serve more as a resupply/logistical-support base (akin to Singapore's Changi Naval Base) than an actual naval base (e.g. Yokosuka or Sasebo).

According to Ayi, the 056As weren't a gift or sale to Cambodia; those were just excuses and they're actually de facto deployments to the base.

Also, Cambodia has some restrictions in its constitution with regards to foreign troops on its soil. Note the difference between the name of this base and the one in Djibouti: 中国人民解放军驻吉布提保障基地 vs 中柬云壤港联合保障和训练中心 -- People's Liberation Army Support Base in Djibouti vs China-Cambodia Ream Port Joint Support and Training Center.
