I wonder what the trade off is for the lancet esq X-Wing design vs a more conventional loitering munition layout like the ZT-10, seems like you're trading some range/payload size for minor gains in maneuverbility.

The trade off is actually compactness vs range/endurance. Something like ZT-10 can fit inside a tube because the wings are easily foldable. But being smaller/compact means that it can’t fly as far/long and can’t carry as large a payload.

Is it much more compact? The X-wing design should also be able to fold up all of its wings and fit inside a tube, since each wing is perpendicular to the next one it should all just twist into a square shape.
