Three Tengden/Tengoen TB-001s flying in formation. The one on the right might be a TB-001A, which has a tail propeller, but image quality is not good enough for me to judge definitively.

Hi
any idea how early the fleeing miscreants can detect the sound of drone death coming towards them
& Qs is how long will the bomb or missile take to struck the target after looking to this
video if possible to answer
thank you

The strike was conducted as the targets were already existing the building. You can see how they go from a casual stroll to an attempted run just before the explosion, but they only heard the missile a split second before impact with no time to react.

As for why they chose to fire when they were leaving, there are many possible reasons, with a few of the more obvious being:

- it was a massive building they were in, and the Nigerians didn’t have a live feed from inside to be sure where the targets were in the building.

- they were targeting a specific individual and needed PID before launching the strike.

- they knew the militants would be bunched up as they existed the choke point of the doors, so decided to hit them there to get maximum bang for buck.

- the mission started as a recon only one, but they made a snap decision to change that to strike when they realised just how many militants were in the building since that was too juicy of a target of opportunity to pass up.

This is interesting. In response to urgent market needs for cost effective UCAVs and loitering attack munitions, Beijing Chuangheng Control Technology Corporation (北京创衡控制技术有限公司) has produced affordable add-on kits that can convert off-the-shelf drones into UCAVS and precision loitering attack munitions.

The conversion kit is composed of modules for navigation (INS + satellite navigation), flight control, electro-optical sensors (infrared + TV), datalink, ground control, along with necessary software. With minimum effort, these modules can be added to ordinary drones to give them reconnaissance and precision strike capabilities, including hitting targets on the move when the optical turret module is installed.

Moreover, the conversion kit enables drones to operate as swarms (50 drones or more per formation) and provide such capabilities as automatic takeoff/landing of multiple drones and automatic formation flight.
