I posted images of two different hulls (1, 2) that were alleged airborne IFVs. Not sure if they are submissions in an official competition or private efforts, but it's impossible to judge whether the latest image is of those two hulls or a different design entirely.

I'd argue that if a vehicle can survive .50 fire it isn't in the same class as a Mengshi anymore. For the Mengshi specifically, it comes in a lot of different flavors and a bunch have different armor levels. However, there was a feature a few years ago where the Mengshi door survived being shot at with 7.62 (not sure what exact cartridge). Don't know if there's any more information out there.
