I don't think the final thing will be very close to the CGs at all, but to say they have "no bearing" is probably a little bit ambitious. Chances are the real thing will have a few superficial similarities to the CGIs (stealthy, maybe twin engined, with fuselage shaped for high supersonic or hypersonic flight)

The important thing right now is we don't know what any part of this drone looks like, apart from possibly a part of its tail and engine arrangement, so it could turn out to look like anything... including possibly incidentally sharing some features with the CGI.

Possibly. Anyway I said it just to cover my behind, since we don't have much info about the bird right now.

Edit: Actually not CGI but turns out to be engine of B-52. See you can never by too careful.

I suppose you could get away with that kind of build quality on the rear of the aircraft, especially since the J-10A didn't countersink some of the rivets near the intake.

Edit: the first flight of the hypersonic aircraft the other day still stand, just not related to these pics. We just have continue to wait for real thing.

Yes...just as I said above. does not have to be a CGI. Can simply be a close up of another aircraft that is an actual picture...but not of what they are saying it is.

Haaa.... the original poster of that pic is getting killed in CJDBY forum by some angry forum members who got mislead by him.They are accusing him of playing with other people's emotions.

Now he pretend to be all innocent like he didn't mean to fool other people when he know full well using words like dark aircraft and just flown hinting like the recent article of the hypersonic flight test article wordings. And then only using partial pics of the B-52 engines to make people think it was related to the hypersonic flight test with ambiguous descriptions. I will give him a kick too if I post in CJDBY. He deserved all the crap and reputation ruin over there.

They didn't see that large US air insignia on the background at the bottom left in the first place?
