I dont know much about Engines and perhaps maybe because it's not assembled properly but this engine looks so much more neat compared to similar type engine from RR

The Engine is in pictures is just a showpiece/model for the show.. actual physical appearance of Engines are like ''Trent XWB'' what you posted.

The tubes and wiring around a jet engine serve a variety of purposes, like for cooling , temperature , pressure , to control air , fuel supply etc.. these are like arteries in Human body.

This is CJ-1000A engine. the real Engine. China's first high bypass turbofan engine for commercial airliner. just look at the appearance.

hope things are clear now..

32 Fan blades equipped AEF-1200 high bypass twin-rotor Turbofan just unveiled by AECC ..

AEF-1200 name indicate, this is 12 tons medium High bypass turbofan engine for civilian aircraft and other similar applications.

but number of fan blades is a surprise for me.

Note - this is a completely new Engine. don't confuse with CJ/WS-20 series.
Could be this one which was said to be the backup engine for CJ-1000. I counted the 32 fan blades.

very much possible.. this Engine appear in Public in early 2010's decade. i don't know the exact year. i think 2011 or 2013
damn. exactly the same thing my friend told me, he said. this is the early model of high bypass turbofan engine from Shenyang now it comes under AECC. way back from late 2000's decade.

one more point, if you see the pattern of last 2 airshows, AECC always display one large machine. CJ-1000 prototype in 2021, AEP-1300 in 2022. so this year they didn't have choice so decided to showcase this first ever high bypass Engine being developed back then.

CJ-1000/CJ-2000 mock-ups displayed this year.

Note- CJ-1000 actual prototype didn't display in 2022 airshow. the reason behind this, it was late and due to heavy weight they skipped.

I suggest you guys use the TRL scale. The technology readiness level (TRL) to describe the status of the technology. You can wikipedia 'technology readiness level' to gain an understanding of the scale. In a nutshell: 1 = basic science phenomena discovered (yet to be exploited) and 9 = serial production and mass market availability (proven tech)

CJ-1000 i believe to be a 6 out of 9 or they have a prototype that they are beginning to real world test. Is this assessment accurate? Would love to hear your input.
