A great sign of course. Structurally easier and stationary parts will become CMC first. The GE9X has its turbine stators and shroud made from CMC. I think turbine discs will follow then the blades will be the last.

The blisk is not a stationary part. It’s a combined disk and blade.
I know. I was just commenting generally. A shroudless CMC blisk would be the pinnacle of gas turbine tech, especially if it is 3d printed with intricate cooling channels.
@sunnymaxi can you share an article about it? I never heard of ceramic composites getting 3d printed until now.
According to Orca WS-19 is progressing so smoothly that J-35 might not enter service with an interim engine at all. WS-13/WS-21 engineers are miffed.
WS-21 could be used for export or non afterburner version for drone. Interesting that they got the luxury of having options.
