Absolutely.

WS-10B
WS-10C
WS-15
WS-20
WS-21
and many more coming

and many turboshaft/turboprop engines currently under production too. so need full efficiency in supply chain.
In fact, there is another important speech in the video, that the development of the 5th generation engine has begun. This may be a variable cycle engine prepared for the 6th generation aircraft.

They must've put a very tight lid on WS-15 if they haven't fixed material use for WS-20 yet. We've seen those Y-20 with WS-20 flying everywhere since last year.

I still find the entire speech a little hard to comprehend. He makes it sound like ws15 should already be on j20 aircraft.

I think it's more likely ws15 has passed on design certification but not production certification yet. Because we just haven't seen production j20s with ws15 yet.

Just a slip in. Taking a quick glance back.

Why the Y-20 and not the IL-76 testbed? Or has it already done with the IL-76 and is not being put on a less specialized aircraft for next phase testing?

Or has a specialzed Y-20 replaced the Il-76 as engine testbed?
A very late reply for sure (sorry about that), but here's the answer:
... according to @钢铁机机 (Iron Eagle) from Weibo it is no. 7616!

Yes, apparently the Y-20 has replaced (or at least, supplemented) the Il-76 as the new engine testbed platform.

The important thing is that the design is frozen and they didn't find faults with it after test flights with a single engine and are comfortable enough to move forward! That puts it in front of Izdeliye 30 in terms of progress! First time in Chinese aviation engine history, China has beaten Russians to the punch at something!

i think. he is talking about small scale production. which is still a big update regarding WS-15..

edit - what @siegecrossbow said is absolutely right. design has been finalized after 2 years of extensive testing.

actual translation -

It was at the 7th China Airlines New World War II that it was said that production of the Chinese engine WS-15 had begun. Zhang Yong, who belongs to China Aviation Research Institute of Beijing Aviation Materials, spoke and made a presentation on the production of heat-resistant alloys for aircraft engines..
