WS-17 is for Jl-10/L-15.
For JL-10.
By the way, WS-17 (with afterburner) is already installed on JL-10.
Well ... but not on operational ones since so far NO operational JL-10 uses the AB-version
Something tells me that Jane's grossly underestimated the power of the WS20 engines. An engine with a diameter of 2.2 meters is likely going to have a thrust significantly above 28,660 lbf.
The authors are both Indian, make of that what you will.

Any number below 14 tons is not credible and according to the slides we saw earlier the WS-20's thrust can be as high as 16 tons.
The fan blade diameter of the WS20 engine is 2100mm.
