What on earth are you talking about?all three countries you mentioned are major playersNot really. You look at dominate players in global gas turbine industry, there is no UK/france/Russia companies, despite they are major players in jet engines.

A jet engine is a gas turbine and marketshare is not the same thing as capability.Gas turbine market share data from 2020
Siemens(Germany) 29.7%
GE(US)27.6%
Mitsubishi(Japan)21.8%
Ansaldo(Italy)12.4%

Are you (and users on Weibo) absolutely sure?WS-15
Are you (and users on Weibo) absolutely sure?
Original Weibo poster didn’t state it explicitly, but this is heavily implied. China wouldn’t need to test a WS-10 variant alongside another engine.
The WS-15 should have fewer compressor stages so it should also be a shorter engine.Even though the photo is blurry, the left nozzle is obviously longer. I wonder if TVC has been installed.
p.s. Apparently the shorter nozzle is WS-15.
