It's probably not a Chinese testing site.

Also I'm noticing a pattern here where you try to attribute anything you find on the internet to the ws-15 without any scrutiny or vetting. There's a reason why information on the ws-15 is hard to come by. You're not going to find it in scattered hearsays around the internet. Every bit of information we have on every project we follow comes from sources that are vetted one way or another. If the source doesn't look credible then it probably isn't real. You could afford to be less over eager.

It actually came from here... it is pertaining to the next generation engine. Indeed, there is a lack of WS-15 info these days ... :(

This is a very old article that was shared within the PLA watching community more than a decade ago (Before the links went bad you could still find these images in older threads on CDF). None of the engines in the pictures are of the WS-15. We know this in part because our record of reliable sources tell us that WS-15 was little more than a prototype engine core at the time, and we already know what that engine core looks like. We also know in part because, if memory serves me correctly, the original sources of the pictures were already identified. Using pictures that aren't related to the item being discussed, often pulled from the internet, as graphic filler was (and unfortunately still is) a common practice with Chinese media. While it's occasionally useful to dig up old material as a form of review, this particular piece isn't going to tell us anything we don't already know.
