during the 2012 Zhuhai airshow, SAC express dissatisfaction with WS-13.according to report WS-13 has a very low 200 hr.MTBF.it simple to low. but wonder if the finally solve the problem.

Great news.

According to some big shrimp the new improved WS-10B has a 135KN of thrust, FADEC and is more realiable than WS-10A. It currently power the J-16 prototypes and will power the J-15 and J-16 soon.

J-10B might also use it.

That was way back in 2008 the earlier WS-13 prototypes. WS-13 should be ready for mass production in 2018, in time for J-31 IOC.

i took a look at that one. Just seems like some dude posting what he saw on QQ. Doesn't seem to be from any standard big shrimp that we know are good sources.

china make tremendous progress such as powder metallurgy to produce turbine disk,laser to heat turbine blade, using 2-d laser printer to produce engine part.
during 2010 and 2012 Zhuhai airshow,among the display is a small mock up jet engine with 95kn thrust.the inlet fan resemble RD33/93
it could be WS-13.
