Looks like China is actually a net importer of it. So why was it ever exporting raw antimony to begin with? Anyhow, it has 70% of processed antimony production. So this will hurt certain importers.

more importantly, only 24 years of supply left. So they need to hoard as much of this as possible. Similarly, they need to recycle lead acid batteries as much as possible.

Ultimately lead acid batteries could just be replaced with more modern chemistries if this becomes an issue.

Don't take the years of supply left in China in face value. China always "find" or reveal supplies of critical minerals during special moments.

Yeah: the “years left” analyses are always done with the assumption that
1) no more will be found and
2) technology will not be improved

both of those are highly questionable but difficult to forecast

In some cases technology also makes a certain metal less important. For example once they stopped using silver for x-rays and photography, with the onset of digital, the price of silver dropped like a stone.
If the major use of antimony is lead-acid batteries, those could be easily replaced with sodium-ion ones. There are already such batteries in the market.

Both the dollar value of Chinese iron ore imports and the unit price of iron ore in June 2024 are about half of what they were in August 2021, so China imported about as much iron ore (in terms of volume) from Australia in June 2024 as in August 2021.
That's still a win for China though, less money for the Aussies to fantasize fighting China with.
