I don't think there is 100% overlap between Huawei and Apple customer bases. Regardless, Apple will lose sales and, I think, China is at its Peak iPhone years.
To be honest, I don't think so. People have been saying Apple will be in decline due to new competition from Chinese, Korean brands etc. But Apple has consistently maintained their leadership in the high end market for over a decade now and they are still going strong. The thing is they have differentiated their products from others and they have a very loyal customer base who get locked into their product/eco system and who almost worship Apple like a cult group. Lol No other mobile phone company has ben able to make their customers so loyal and passionate about their products . So, No I don't see appple losing its leadership in the high end market (where the real value and money is) anytime soon.

It's because of the OS, when you entered the Apple ecosystem it is very hard to leave. I know since my whole family used it and I can see why? compare to android it is user friendly. I'm still the last standing android user using my Huawei P30 pro and I'm waiting for the Mate 60 pro to be available here. I'm want to try the Harmony OS instead of switching to Apple.

Harmony is going to take more market share away from Apple in a few years.

Apple gained in China only because the US government attacked Huawei and debilitated its mobile business for four years. It will revert to its norm of #2 after Huawei and decline from there. Once the chips and OS are localized, what happened in the auto industry will happen here too.

You can try Harmony Os 3 on your P30 pro.
I using Harmony Os 3 on my P30 pro and not going back to Android.

Depends on the Apps you use, as some apps don't run on Harmony Os 3.
You can install App Gallery with HMS core 1st and see if apps you use are listed there.
Apps that are recommended there will definitely run.
Some Apps that you need to install manually will also run but no guarantee.
I have downloaded GMS_2023_2.zip to install Apps from Google on Harmony Os, but not used as I can install Google Maps using App Gallery.

I'm new to this. Do you have to install HMS core before Harmony OS?

There will be a huge jump in power efficiency when GAA transistors come into service around the 3nm or 2nm node.
This should likely happen in two years.
By that time Huawei's products will be noncompetitive in the high end regardless of how good their chip design is.
Bro when will the GAA become mainstream in 3 years? with the current economic downturn and the fact that you need a new eco system to make it commercially viable? it will be prohibitively expensive and by that time, SMIC and Huawei will be using a Chinese EUVL powered by SSMB or LPP TO STAY COMPETITIVE.
