the data will still be internally available and collected. comparatively, China has levels of youth unemployment comparable with many OECD nations.
this of course means that China has a servant and gig economy skills gap with the rest of the world.
I believe you pointed out that having servant jobs is very important.
I think China can learn from India, as they have many servants, some of whom are even whte.
China shouldn’t publish national security data like military budget, gold reserves, foreign exchange reserves, birth rates, natural resources production and reserves, supercomputers (stopped publishing), nuclear arsenal (never published), etc.
Too much data given to the enemy means they can formulate strategies based on current numbers and trends. Keep the enemy guessing.
These data should be numbers for internal policy makers only to make decisions based on them. Outside world don’t need to know about these data. What is the purpose or gain from from publishing these data to the outside world?

Because it is necessary to publish economic data for firms to decide expand or reduce business. Let say I am operating a child care business and I don't know birth rate, how can I know the demand? I may built a lot of child care centers just to waste it coz there is a lot less chidren than anticipating.
If you want to operate like North Korea you can do that, but China has private firms and foreign investment too.

China will survive without publishing these data to the outside world. This information is being gathered by foreign intelligence agencies to formulate their containment strategy of China.
