Posting this type of content itself is not the issue, but rather it comes down to the sort of commentary or questions that the OP (in this case, yourself) is contributing with it.
If you were wanting to ask for clarification as to whether the claims in the video were true, sensible or logical then that is one thing -- i.e.: challenging the premise and claims to begin with.
But you were asking what could "explain it", meaning that you believed that the claims and premise in the video made were reasonable.
Perhaps you did not intend it to be bait and did genuinely believe that the claims made in the video were reasonable, but in that case it just means there's a bit more to learn and to be vigilant about, and you're going to continue getting this sort of response.

When I first saw that at a glance I thought they were talking about something new and sophisticated because no one would be that stupid to use a satellite photo of how many and how bright lights you can see in countries at night to estimate economic performance... They fvcking did! Oh my god... how many idiots in the West that think they're experts...? The video emphasized how many experts helped confirmed this report. First of all he didn't show who, he just said it. Plus if I can again bring up world renown economics expert Nouriel Roubini who said China was collapsing because when he was in China and took a maglev train from Shanghai to Hangzhou, he said he was the only one on the train meaning China spent billions on a train no one was using. I'm sure he was the only one on board since there is no maglev train route from Shanghai to Hangzhou. A world renown expert outright lied for whatever political purpose...
Nightlights... Automatically tells you they're an outsider looking in only seeing the surface and nothing inside. If you look at that satellite picture, India is far more brighter than anywhere in China. Does anyone believe India, notorious for brownouts because they have a poor electricity grid, is outperforming China? In China they like to light up buildings at night to have elaborate light shows. But somehow not reflected in that satellite photo. Nighttime where everyone is mostly asleep thus there would be less electrical activity but some how brighter in Western countries than in China where they light up buildings at night... That satellite picture the whole world is at night. Automatically tells you manipulation but somehow we're supposed to believe the West doesn't lie and manipulate in order to believe this report is straight and true.
Just because someone can post a video on YouTube it doesn't mean they've vetted the video to make sure it's true. I'll tell how far self-serving organizations will go to push their biased political agenda. I talked about before about supposedly independent movie fanboy sights that all talk about the same things literally released all at the same time. There's one guy out there who hates Disney and bashes everything they do including all Star Wars movies as all being bad. Well someone posted one of his early reviews of The Last Jedi before he was paid to turn his YouTube channel into a right-wing shill where he said he loved the movie where after he had nothing but venom. Then when people started to question his motivations, he posts a video where he's normally in a studio and not from his bedroom or basement inside from his $50,000+ sports car he got for being a right-wing shill. That's how much money these political organizations will spend to get their agenda out there. Why Disney? Because the right hates their woke pop culture that they spread around the world and against right-wing values and they're willing to pay people who act like they're independent to push their agenda and here they want to people to stop watching anything Disney because these fanboys are what makes Disney money. You don't think they would pay someone on the internet that is supposedly respected to say something negative as if that makes it true? It's all a big manipulation which something they say they don't do to give themselves a sense of being credible.
