The West can't beat China in infrastructure development around the world because they expect Western companies to get the contracts to build infrastructure and as with products they produce cost multiple times more than China. So when the West claims to have $300 billion dollars to give out in loans to other countries, that translates multiple times to over a trillion dollars compared to what the Chinese can do with that money. Their only hope in beating China is when China is bigger and better than they are in all measures.
