The very moment the West start to going into the arena to try to "compete" with China with supposed "parallel projects" is the moment the West lost the game. China's game plan is to shift market landscape of the globe from the industrialized to the industrializing (and the to-be-industrialized), Western countries who try to compete with China in these with their similar mega-projects is simply adding on the effort of this trend led by China.
Absolutely. Chinese housing prices need to come down very sharply.
That would become a "hard landing" and force many to default their bank loans when the house is worth much less than the loan balance.
A lot of those Western funded "projects" are sure to be used to stall the development of those countries. They will be used to pad the pockets of politicians with projects which will never pass the paper phase.
High crime rates, widespread drug use and people sh*tting on the streets? I thought things were looking good for Xinjiang...
