Does Japan have enough food for themselves? Why are they worried about China?
And yet many in the West claims that it is a Chinese culture to save face whenever they are wrong. Oh the Irony has struck again. The West claims it does its due diligence and is not motivated by politics so their analyses are sound. One great power that the West has that's undeniable is their ability to lie and make their own people believe they're incapable of lying. It's a culture of lies because even the people that are told the lies know they have to keep up the lies because they never want to be seen as wrong hence why people automatically believe they always tell the truth.

But when you cannot import enough animal feed, how do you feed the animals?Actually Japan food self sufficiency rate is 37%, very low, so during emergency i.e war where there is no trade, Japan would have a very hard time to feed the population. China's food self sufficiency rate is ~95%, remember the majority China's grain import is for animal feed, so during emergency or war, we don't really need to eat too much meat or fish
France is the only country in EU that have food self sufficiency rate over 100%
NZ is 185 and Australia 207 ... I think it is misleading as NZ import a lot of fertilizer and others to support farm industry, without it, it would collapse in no time, the same thing for Australia
But when you cannot import enough animal feed, how do you feed the animals?
You don't eat meat.
You depend on your new besty, Russia. Soyfarmers are making good roubles from China trade and Russia is ramping up agri industry support. Man, all of China's problems have Russia as an answer. Oil? Russia. Gas ? Russia. Beef? Russia. Caviar ? Russia. Salmon? Russia. Timber ? Russia. Iron ore and Copper ? Russia of course. List goes on and on.But when you cannot import enough animal feed, how do you feed the animals?
You do need some protein to have a proper diet, but that can be achieved with beans or something like that.
Last century people sometimes only had fish or meat like once a week and I would not say it was a good life but they survived.
