Shanghai Gold Exchange lifting its cap on prices for gold; this will probably devastate anglo paper gold markets as money will flow out from the anglos and into China.
Also, China doesn't export gold so any gold bought there has to stay in country.

Are you losing millions in this debacle? I certainly won't. It's a problem that must be addressed now and if letting Evergrande to sink is the best way to ensure long term recovery in exchange for short term mega pain then so be it. This issue must not and can't be kept on being delayed forever because sooner or later the problem will occur and then maybe by that time the situation won't be as manageable and then it'll be even more difficult to manage.

Im not sure there is corruption regarding evergrande. AFAIK, china´s real estate is in a huge bubble (fuelled by constant liquidity from the government in order to grow the economy). Unsurprisingly, you have a situation like this.

@Orthan bro tiny bubbles and its okay that everybody is concern and it is being taken care of, the huge one is the US stock market and nobody cares!
