I will be signing our very large and comprehensive Phase One Trade Deal with China on January 15. The ceremony will take place at the White House. High level representatives of China will be present. At a later date I will be going to Beijing where talks will begin on Phase Two!

Sounding like a despereado!

thought I might share these interesting numbers:
  1. "China's trade with the US fell 11.1 percent year-on-year to 3.4 trillion yuan ($488.57 billion) in the first 11 months of the year ..." (

  2. "China's GDP is expected to reach 100 trillion yuan ($14.37 trillion) in 2019, Xi said."

China's trade with the US fell 11.1 percent year-on-year to 3.4 trillion yuan ($488.57 billion) in the first 11 months of the year, according to Chinese customs data, worsening from a 10.6 percent contraction in the first 10 months

The nation's yuan-denominated trade with the EU, China's top trading partner, posted a rise of 7.7 percent in the first 11 months, per Chinese customs statistics.

Come on, Jura, don't be selective in your quote. The rest of that quote included a 7.7% rise in EU, China's largest trading partner!

This should give a fuller picture of the situation!

China trade with US is ,as expected, continues to decline. China GDP is ,as expected , continues to increase. Trade with rest of the world is assuming more importance while trade with US is becoming less significance. This may not be a bad 'thing' for China.

Huawei says it will generate a record $122 billion in annual revenue despite US sanctions
  • Huawei says it is likely to report a record annual revenue of $122 billion for 2019.

  • In a New Year's Eve message to employees, Huawei's rotating chairman Eric Xu reported the figure, which he said would represent an 18% increase on its annual revenue for 2018.

Jesus, Confucius, Maria, Buddha, Jaweh, Zoroaster, the Xi administration is going to sign an unequal treaty and after the signing will swiftly start negotiations towards a second unequal treaty. I really start to be angry with Xi Jinping, Li Keqiang and Liu He. This is not how you represent 1,4 billion people and their future - interests. Second, not necessary. They are repeating mistakes of Qing dynasty fools of 19th century.
