Zhang Junlin, a 62-year-old retired prison guard, stands inside his homemade submarine named 'Shenlong-3' at a factory in Fuyang, Anhui province. Zhang spent 2 years with his team to build the 15-metre-long (49-ft) submarine, which weighs about 25 tons and can hold up to 20 people. The submarine, the third one made by Zhang and his team, will be put in the water soon, according to local media.

Uhhh... Oxidative stress is BAD and is one of the main causes of cancer. "Exposing a person to oxidative stress to improve anti-oxidative protection" is a bad idea! All the growth factors and pro-inflammatory mediators secreted in your body when exposed to oxidative stress will stimulate cell proliferation and tumor development. Not only that, white blood cells are particularly fond of these growth factors and pro-inflammatory mediators and will be attracted to the site of secretion. These white blood cells, especially macrophages and neutrophils, are highly toxic and damaging to normal tissues since they eat anything and everything in their path. That's why these winter swimmers tend to get arthritis later on. So don't do it.
