I'm not here to argue with you Steelbird..Nope. I will just present facts.

Association football is popular among the youth in the US. It has been for many years. However those number do not add up to Tv audiences or soccer memorabilia sold. It's not there yet. Maybe some day.

Good news about the Major Soccer League. The MLS has the #9 Association football attendance in the World. Good attendance does not equate into revenue or TV ratings for soccer in the US. Now the World Cup gets great coverage and ratings in the US. And the EPL gets greater Tv ratings in the US than the MLS...figure that one out!

No sport will replace the National Football League as the #1 sport for many years. And did you know there are many other levels of American Football played in the US. College, High School semi-pro, indoor, Pop Warner etc..etc..

The #1 Tv show in the US is the weekly (in the fall) Sunday Night Football;

American football will go nowhere because it is played only in the U.S.

True..American Football is part of the sporting culture of the US. It will not go anywhere but here in the US with the yearly matches in London & Toronto. That's fine with most Americans.

American Football is the #1 sport in the US.

Association Football is the #1 sport of the World ..so be it. I've no problem with it what so ever. I want soccer to succeed in the US. Read my post in SSS and I've stated that many, many times.

Our sporting culture in the US is different that the rest of the World. Simple.

LMAO...no offense my friend, but that's not going to happened..at least in our life time! American Football is a lot of deep rooted traditions and impact on many Americans for generations, and I doubt it that soccer, no mater how popular it grows, it will never over take American Football.

In most states in the US a person could leave a newborn baby with a hospital, police or fire dept if said person did not want the baby..no questions asked.

I agree.. and the truth is there is just not a lot of $$ in pro soccer in the US unlike football or baseball. Most kids do play soccer but it will mainly remain in the K-12 realm.

What's ironic is the US women's soccer team is one of the best in the world but the sport itself is not as popular professionally.

True, I think today's society has to have some kind of places like these to put unwanted babies for adoption safely without questions. There's never going to be a place where you will have a perfect 100% ideal consummation birth.

Sadly, China hasn't discovered the efficacy and efficiency of queuing. My first trip to China was in 1999, and I was last there in June this year. One could see a little improvement to queuing, but still has a way to go.

Thank goodness that China doesn't have a "black Friday" type shopping craze like here in America where shoppers goes berserk over "Made in China" products...LOL.
