Photos taken on February 6, 2017 shows street after earthquake in Hualien. A 6.5-magnitude earthquake jolted waters near Hualien County of Taiwan at 11:50 p.m. Tuesday (Beijing Time), according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC). Two people were killed, and 214 injured in the earthquake. The epicenter was monitored at 24.13 degrees north latitude and 121.71 degrees east longitude, the center said in a statement. The quake struck at a depth of 11 km. Local media reported that some buildings and roads in Hualien were damaged. (Photo/VCG)

There were altogether 30 plus steam locomotives running in Sandaoling, a key coal mine area in northwest China's Xinjiang, in the late 1990s, but the number has reduced to only 11 nowadays. Responsible for exploiting and carrying coal in the area, the steam locomotives have been outdated due to the development of science and technology, and will be dismantled once break down since no part can be renewed. TAIPEI -- Four people were killed and 225 were injured as of 10:40 am Wednesday after a 6.5-magnitude earthquake hit Taiwan.
A total of 236 people have been rescued but there are still 148 people missing with 143 trapped in Yun Men Tusi Ti building, according to the local disaster relief administration. According to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC), the earthquake jolted waters near Hualien at 11:50 pm Tuesday.

At least 11 people have died including a ten-day-old baby after a 6.4 magnitude earthquake hit Taiwan in the early hours of this morning, causing a 17-storey apartment building to collapse.
Emergency crews are working to free hundreds more people who are feared trapped after the quake struck the southern city of Tainan at around 4am at the start of the Chinese New Year holidays, according to Taiwan's state news agency.
A ten-day-old girl was reported to have died in the disaster alongside a 50-year-old man who was found in the same apartment. Another man, 40, was reportedly killed, as was a 55-year-old woman, according to an emergency response center in Tainan.
Fire crews told Channel News Asia that another woman was killed by a falling water tank at a different location, but did not give any more details.
