The first example of Hangjing FWT-2000 passenger tilt-rotor has rolled off the assembly line. It can carry five passengers or 500kg of payload, cruise at 300km/h, has a max range of more 700km, and is hybrid-powered.

If Trump export controls CFM LEAP 1C then how will China retaliate?
China could ban the export of aviation grade titanium to the US. If they decide to do this together with Russia, which is already contemplating doing it, it would be even more damaging.

China is the world's largest smelter and producer of aluminium, titanium, and nickel metal.

How fast can China replace the LEAP 1C with the CJ-1000A?
For all we know it could start production next year. But I would say before the decade is over it will enter service.

So US can slowdown China's airline program by some years

US can source it from Japan

COMAC are still in the process of selecting the suppliers for C929 and finishing the design. There is no prototype yet.
The original claim was like 2029 but I would say 2035.

Isn't the C929 meant to have its first flight in 2029 anyway? First delivery and introduction into service is certainly a few years later than that, provided that everything goes smoothly.
