(a.k.a. Space Transportation) has carried out a test flight of its supersonic transport technology demonstrator named Yunxing (云行). Yunxing is envisioned to be a Mach 4 passenger transport. Lingkong is also known to be working on hypersonic transports.

More information about the test flight of Lingkong's supersonic transport technology demonstrator. The aircraft reached a maximum speed of Mach 6 and a sustained cruising speed of Mach 4, with a flight altitude of more than 26km. The test flight successfully evaluated the thermal protection system of the aircraft. The thermal protection system uses two kinds of composite materials: fiber-reinforced modified phenolic resin composite (SMPR) was used in high-temperature areas, and reinforced polymer aerogel composite (HIC) was used on the rest of the fuselage. According to the test data, the maximum surface temperature of SMPR area exceeded 1400℃ and stayed above 1000℃ for more than 200 seconds; the maximum surface temperature of HIC area exceeded 1300℃ and stayed above 1000℃ for more than 300 seconds. The temperature inside the aircraft never rose above 30℃.

Are SSB less prone to fire than lithium ion?
what type of Lithium ion? Right now, we are still trying to get SSB to the same safety standard as LFP battery.

This is a Williams FJ33/FJ44 I think. It is claimed Iran reverse engineered and can make a clone of it.

this type of light turbofan engine is easy to copy no wonder Iran did that.. this engine max thrust is 1,849 lbf..

and this engine is perfectly fit on smaller business jet. even a small Chinese company can produce this category class engine now.. so most probably Jiucheng General Aviation do produce this engine in house.

5-6 passengers capacity lighter business jet currently dominating by Honda company. good to see Chinese entered in this industry.
