He talked about why Y-20 can be produced totally domestically but C-919 have to rely on foreign suppliers for core components. His conclusion is that，the components used on Y-20 isn't suitable for C-919，because：

（1）Airworthiness certificate issue ，which doesn't exist in military aircraft

（2）Reliability and comfort，civil aviation has much higher requirement than military one

（3）Cost，civil aviation is profit-driven therefore very cost sensitive，military is not

（4）China didn't take civil aviation industry seriously in the past，you cannot have a domestic civil aviation components supply chain when you didn't even have a platform to fit into. Domestic supply chain will only grow gradually after C-919 and other platform takes off.

Why so in a rush to get the 737 max flying? By what right? China getting 737 max flying is clearly political pressure and persuasion from the US side. Why is reluctance on getting an unreliable plane from an unreliable company flying again a bad thing?

What's the rush? What does China gain from approving the 737 max quickly?
