I did not see them in service at all based on the footage I have seen.

Any idea what missile the HJ-16 is based on: QN-502C, Sabre-SR/MR/ER/NLOS, or TL-4?
Looks like they'll be inducting IR-homing ATGMs of all ranges: the 10+ km HJ-16, 4 km HJ-12, and that new smaller ATGM we saw in the WZ-550, in addition to newer laser-beam-riding systems like the HJ-11.

No, they are not in service, you’ve seen footage of them being tested from Zhuhai,it’s like HJ-12 in 2014
Is the HJ-11 in service? Or HJ-16?

HJ-11 is in service and there are photos of it being fired during exercises. The HJ-16 is either in late stages of trials or just entered service not too long ago.
I've only seen one image with the HJ-11 and there's no indication if it's in service. Do you happen to have some more documentation?
(I'm developing a PLA faction for a game so I would really really appreciate images and documentation. Those documentary videos are great if it's featured in one.)

It was seen during exercises. There are also plenty of reports of it being in service.
PLA adopted HJ-11 without actually purchasing them , instead , the HJ-12 we’ve seen a while, integrated thermal/skylight capability so HJ-11 is now no longer needed.
Future ATGMs for ground force would be HJ-10/12/16
These images of HJ-11, was all released in one time and we haven’t seen them ever since
