Video.
Mother of god that's a terrible video.
It's literally a vertically formatted video intended for a phone with a landscape video within it. Just why.
The same channel of course has the full episode, that those clips are taken of, starting about 14 minutes, in full 1080p and in proper full landscape. And is where the gif is from as well that I clipped earlier.
Mostly likely for those youtube snippets that only show verticle videos.
I know why it exists, but it is formatted poorly even for those vertical videos. And there's also the full video that can be linked here instead..
HJ-8. Its a much older user-guided atgm.
Seem very similar to the Milan 2. The beginning flight stage was when the missile was still initializing as it was not flying in straight line. The accuracy for the first 400m would be very low as the operator don't have full control of the missile flight. This is the main reason why ATGM are ill suited for company level where engagement range tend to be within 400m most of the time. Recoiled rifles and RPG are much preferred choices for short range engagement.
It is a second generation ATGM and is on the way out.
