recently. It's developed by a company called Feiteng (飞腾). The missile weighs only 5kg and can be launched by an individual soldier or from airborne, vehicle-mounted, as well as ship-based platforms. It's capable of autonomous action and networked swarm. The seekers are modular (infrared, daylight, laser guidance).

For a short ranged missile?
Questionable uses in combat given its short range.
Also has the same name as Phytium 飞腾 lmao.

Perhaps you meant 5KG warhead? It seems very unlikely that a missile of any effectiveness can be made 5KG

The Chinese text states that the missile is a micro missile (微小型导弹) in the 5kg-class (5公斤级导弹). As for its effectiveness, it depends on what the intended targets are. Obviously a 5kg warhead isn't going to take out a fortified bunker, but against unarmored and lightly armored vehicles, infantry formations, or concealed combats in urban combat zones, 5kg warheads should be sufficient.
