Quite a strange pod, It make me think of a towed decoy system. Never seen a Chinese one but it look to be the size of the one tested on the P-8a.Ok ... and this is WHAT??
Could that be a pod of some kind? Or is it definitely a missile?Ok ... and this is WHAT??
lmao, well, they got us.F***k him, it is from movie “Born to Fly"
As I previously said it was my last piece of trust by the time he claimed "the mysterious TEL is even longer than DF-41" and it turned out to be a supporting vehicle in a J-8 airport.
OP is NOT a credible source.

Geez, seems like we had the same thought at the same time. I just posted something similar in the J-XX/JH-XX thread about using a bomber as a long range interceptor.I'm just spitballing here, but since latest PLA AA missiles can be remote guided, is there anything stopping the PLAAF from modifying a ground based missile, strap 20 on a H-6k and practically create massive magazine depth in an air engagement? As those ground based missiles if launched from the air could easily achieve 300km+ ranges. This would also apply to potential PL-21 where the bomber can comfortably hang far outside of enemy fighter ranges and still cover the entirety of Taiwan in terms of missile range.
This is basically the inverse of NASAMs.
I believe you have (mistakenly) posted that in the Chinese Engine Development thread instead of the H-20 bomber (with H-X, JH-XX) thread.Geez, seems like we had the same thought at the same time.
