Please don't post obviously PSed images with such strong political connotations.
It is unlikely that they will receive an upgrade.Just curious, anybody knows what are the current estimates for numbers of 96, 96A and 96B?
is there any potential programme lined up to upgrade the 96 and 96A to 96B standard?
Turret is prob most expensive part of a tank though. It is unlikely that they will receive an upgrade.
The old 96s have been in use for a long time and have very little life left, and upgrading them is not very cost effective.
96-A will probably only get the 96-B turret because there are so many improvements to the body: power pack, power drive, etc, that it's basically no different than building a new body.
I don't think type 96B is in production. They only made a few units for the annual Army Games in Russia.Just curious, anybody knows what are the current estimates for numbers of 96, 96A and 96B?

Yep, and I wonder what they will do with basic 96 which I heard must be replaced soon because they are worn a lot. I am not sure 96A and 96B should be made in 2022, this tank is just not good enough for recent times to procure them brand new.I don't think type 96B is in production. Can you please give the source for it? or that's just the conclusion from all these years observing their vehicles development自改革以来,解放军的军队学说已经远离重甲。
