What's an "axis"?
Actually, its "axle".
What's an "axis"?
Type 96 and T-72 tanks are in the 40-ton range, while the Arjun is 60 tons. Not sure it's fair competition for the Arjun given the events are largely time and maneuver based. The russian tank biathlon 2017 is 2 months from now. Does anyone knows if china will take ztz-96b to the biathlon, or will it take some other tank?
also this year india will take the arjun tank to the biatlon. How do you think that it will fare?
If the rumour is right we will know soon enough if it is built right. It is a punishing biathlon to both crew and machine, looking forward to it.latest T72 variants the T72B3 are closer to 50 Short tons.
Arjun would depend on variant between 64-75 Short tons
It would come down to a question of power to weight, Ground pressure and Engine power. The Arjun is one of those modern tanks that is a east meets west design using parts from both Russian and European makers.
If you build it right A 75 ton tank will fly. The Question is did they build it right?
If it's MK1 I would say not even close. Heck they would be lucky if they finish the game. However if they send MK2 that would be interesting to see if their efforts on fixing the mess pays off.The Question is did they build it right?
