over let say 4 years of full production ? so that is about 1 plane per month production speed .PLAAF Y-20A serial number 20248 aka no. 28 assigned to the 13th Transport Division, 37th Air Regiment based at Kaifeng. Overall this is the highest number spotted so far.
So according to my own layman's list we have 20 individual Y-20A transports identified within the 4th TD and 27 (most likely 28) within the 13th TD + 7 confirmed (but most likely 8) YY-20A tanker ... in sum, these are 47 (48?) + 7 (8?) = 54-56 in service.

WS20 has a much bigger inlet relative to it's overall length. Similar to most turbofans found in most modern commercial airliners today.Oh, I see it.
I'm still not that good at differentiating between A and B variants.
Thanks for the correction.
YY-20. This isn't a new image, but it's certainly by far the best version.
I thought the one you originally posted was better, otherwise I would have posted this one.An even better version.
