Yes, and I remember that we were discussing if it could be indeed already in service - due to the low-visibility markings - and most claimed it would be unlikely - due to the huge red flag - ... so why do some now think it is in service?

I think we decided to err on the side of caution because we could see no visible numbers on it.

We should also clear up the fact that the huge red flag does not preclude it from being in service. It may make it less likely that it is service, but the fact remains that there are still/also several in-service Y-20s with a huge PRC flag on the vertical stabiliser.

Y-20 has climbed to 32 in Kaifeng as of June 21, 2023. Ten more than it was in March.

Fabulous. I believe that the number of active Y-20s passing the triple-digit count before the end of this year is very likely.

In the meantime, found this photograph posted in the comment section of @还是捣蛋's post above by @十七笔画- on Weibo.

This one looks Y-20B-ish?

The photograph is said to be taken at an unknown airport in Shandong.

However, the serial number looks too blurry to be readable.

Photos can always cheat by manipulating heighs and width ratio if you know how.
